LOWERING THE CAP ON BENEFITS

A new benefit cap has now come in to effect, meaning the total amount workless households can receive in benefits will be limited to £20,000 across the UK or £23,000 within Greater London. This is fair to the taxpayers who pay for it and fair to those who need it.

350,000 MORE PEOPLE IN WORK

Between June and September this year unemployment fell by 37,000 and since last year 350,000 more people now have a full time job. That’s 350,000 more people with the security of work, a regular income and better able to provide for themselves and their family. SHARE to let friends know.

Unemployment at 11-year low

The unemployment rate is at an 11 year low, having fallen by over 900,000 since 2010
