These gardens in the High road were donated in 1964 for the pleasure of residents by Mr. and Mrs Stacey who owned the large Victorian house next to Stacey Gardens. Conservative members of the Parish Council identified this neglected green space in the high road. It had become overgrown and vandalised. We decided to undertake major landscaping and planting together with the management of trees to generate more light and getting rid of the derelict bench. This is work in progress to create another beautiful open space for residents.
